IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS
At this late stage we are continuing to seek NOMINATIONS
for the 5 Board positions that become vacant in September this year.
In the interests of the ongoing and effective management of
our Club we have extended the closing date another 2 weeks to 10th July 2009 with the view of attracting additional nominations. Ideally we would like to receive more nominations than vacancies so that members have the opportunity to vote for their preferred candidate(s).
This is your opportunity to either seek a nomination or to nominate a colleague to take an important role in the management of your Club.
Nominations are required for President, Vice President, Secretary and 2 x Board Members.

THE SPORTING CAR CLUB OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA'S OFFICIAL WEBSITE

The largest motor car club in Australia, the Sporting Car Club was founded in Adelaide in 1934, also making it one of the oldest. Our 1600 members, (many of those members for more than 50 years) all love cars and enjoy motorsport. The Sporting Car Club holds motorsport events and competitions and runs the majority of events at Mallala, including the South Australian Motor Racing Championships. We run National, State and Club events at our own Collingrove Hillclimb Track.

We also encourage the preservation and restoration of historic motor vehicles. Our collection of motorsport and motoring information in our magnificent Eric Rainsford Library, is one of the largest in the southern hemisphere. The library offers club members workshop manuals, spare parts lists, current motoring journals and motoring books in addition to videos. Over 7000 volumes available to members and for research, to non-members. All sections of the club organise Club events and social gatherings such as hillclimbs, runs and rallies.
