COMPETITION SECTION

If you eat, drink and breathe motorsport you’ll find a smorgasbord of opportunity at the Sporting Car Club’s Competition Section. Pretty well up there in the rev range, this section is responsible for the organization and promotion of all the club’s competition events. If you’ve ever dreamed of ‘having a go’, The Sporting Car Club can help make it happen. Competition wise, we run circuit racing in South Australia with the SA Motor Racing Championship series.

If you want to get your road car on the track, Sprint Days are for you and all you need is a club level licence, which we can organise. The Club owns the Collingrove Hillclimb track where we run Club, State and National level competitions and events. If you love the smell of burning rubber, you’ll love our burnout competitions on the Collingrove pad. And if sideways is your thing, we’re also involved in the organisation of Drifting at Mallala. If you love your motorsport, but don’t want to get behind the wheel, our Members can help officiate with organisational or on-track tasks. The camaraderie is brilliant, the thrill enormous and the fun never-ending. We provide all the training you’ll need.
