Mawson House

A unique and historic venue

One of the unique things about the Sporting Car Club of SA is that it owns its substantial clubrooms, the historic Mawson House, situated in King William Road in picturesque Unley.

The premises, built in 1910, are now Heritage listed and maintained in near to their original condition.

This venue makes an ideal location for a variety of functions, especially weddings, but also smaller functions, conference & training groups.

The Percy Wien Smith Room is ideal for smaller cocktail functions or for pre dinner drinks prior to the more formal wedding celebrations with a comfortable capacity of 80. This room has a unique décor which provides a more intimate environment.

The main function area, the Reg Sparks Room, is capable of catering for up to 130 guests seated and complete with stage area and outside vehicle access (up to 3 vehicles).
