Both Bret Hayward (Vic and National Hillclimb Champion 2009) and Rod Moody have been at Collingrove practicing at our events
and both Men have run 29 second runs so the Aust Championships look like its going to be a great battle for outright .
Doug Lehmann is holding back his new evo so he can pull of another Winter Cup victory in 2010.
" The Clown Prince of Hillclimbing" Andrew Mitchell has achieved a 5 something second run to the first split time but
has discovered water in his ULX oil ! Maybe that is his secret!
Peter Hall has yet to emerge this season, also MIA are Peter Broom Bromm Ulx, Andrew "I can draw" Ford
and " limpy" Michael Bishop. Also the new car of David Phifer has not returned.Mean while Alan Foster is into the 31 second Bracket.

COLLINGROVE HILLCLIMB
The Sporting Car Club of SA owns and operates the Collingrove Hillclimb track in the Barossa Valley. It is situated approx 7km south of Angaston off the Angaston > Mt Pleasant Rd. It has been in operation since the early 1950's and has seen some Australia's most famous hillclimb vehicles and competitors.
The track itself is 750 metres of challenging asphalt, climbing nearly 70 metres from the start line to the finish. The club has recently upgraded the return road with an asphalt surface. For spectator's the track offers numerous great vantage points and picnic areas.
Each year there are Multiclub Events, the three round Wintercup series, Come & Try Days and the South Australian Hillclimb Championships. See the event calendar on the left for dates and the download section for entry forms.
